On behalf of the Finnish Ringette Association and Kiekko-Espoo Ringette we warmly welcome your team to the International Ringette Festival 2022, which will take place in Espoo, Finland from Thursday, November 3 to Sunday, November 6, 2022.

The International Ringette Festival will be held in conjunction with the IRF World Ringette Championships from October 31 – November 6, 2022 in Espoo. The International Ringette Festival schedule is being planned so that teams will have a chance to take part in the excitement of the WRC 2022.

The International Ringette Festival has room for 16 teams each in the following age divisions: U16, U14 and U12. Our invitation has been sent to teams in Canada, Finland and Sweden. We hope our international tournament will bring more countries into the ringette family and foster international contacts with existing teams.

All teams are scheduled to play at least six tournament games. U16 and U14 will play 2 x 15 minutes (stopped clock) and U12 will play 30 minutes (running time).

The registration fee

900 € per U16 and U14 team / 600 € per U12 team

Please note that meals and accommodation are not included in the fee. Food will be offered adjacent to the arena and the details for food service will be sent later.

Please note that tournament teams will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and we will reserve a set number of spots for international teams attending.

Registration deadline

May 31, 2022. Prepayment for participating teams 300€ U16&U14/ 200€ U12, June 15, 2022. Cancellations during the registration period can be made free of service charges, after which the prepayment will not be refunded.

Final Payment September 30, 2022.

Covid-19

The ringette tournament will be held with health concerns in mind and follow regional Covid-19 restrictions. If the Covid-19 situation prevents the tournament from being organized, payments will be fully refunded.
